Re: Repost from NWR: Lawyers? Pre bar stress help?

Oh My GOSH! I'm going through the same thing- my fiance takes the PA/Jersey exam next Tuesday/ Wednesday/ Thursday and then we are getting married the following Friday. He's going crazy, I don't know what to do to calm him down. Between wedding stress, moving, and this exam he's having like a meltdown. Anyone have advice for us?

Re: Repost from NWR: Lawyers? Pre bar stress help?

My FH is taking NY next week too. It *****!! And I know b/c I took it last summer. I just do for him what he did for me- bring dinner!! He will need food and may forget to eat at some points. Other than that, since there is less than 1 week left the best thing to do is to just leave him alone and let him study. And when he needs to vent and scream or cry (that was me last year) be there for him. He may need massages also to relax before bed The bar exam is the most stressful time I have ever experienced in my life, so trust me there isn't much else you can do to make him feel better.

Re: Repost from NWR: Lawyers? Pre bar stress help?

When I was studying for the bar exam, one of the companies that sold a bar review course had an advertisement that said, 'Do It Once. Do It Right. Never again.' I repeated that to myself over and over and did what I had to do so that I would NOT have to repeat the exam. It was all a matter of keeping myself positive. Every year at this time, my memory takes me right back!! Good luck to everyone taking the exam. Get some good sleep.
