Does anyone know if vendor count as a guest on the wedding guest list or not?
Hello ladies...I am trying to come up with our guest list....but FH and I are confuse. We are having our wedding at Jericho Terrace and we want to know if a vendor (DJ , MC, florist, photography and videography) count as a guest on your guest list? Do we have to save a sit for them? Or they count as a guest but since they are vendor they don't need to be count as a guest on the guest list. Please help...So confused.
TIA

Usually if they're house recommended vendors you don't... I think all others are usually 1/2 off.

So do they count as a guest on my wedding guest list? Do I have to reserve a spot for them? Please help.

You definitely dont need to give them a seat, but you do have to count them in the headcount you give the RH bc you have to feed them. Ask your RH bc most have special deals for how much you pay to feed your vendors.

Some girls actually choose not to feed them but that's another story entirely.

you should call all your vendors that will be with you all day and see if they're interested in a meal, sometimes they'd prefer a larger tip

Vendors don't count unless you don't make your mininum...then you can count them towards your mininum. As far as paying for them it's different for each RH...mine charged $25 (I think?) for each house recommended vendor and more for each non-house vendor.

Re: Does anyone know if vendor count as a guest on the wedding guest list or not?
You count them as a vendor, not as a guest. When you turn in your headcount (don't forget to include you and FH), you count adults, children, then vendors.
Vendor meals are usually at a lower price than regular guest meals. The RH will take care of seating them somewhere for them to eat, usually in an out of the way spot like the CH room.

you dont give them a seat but you do have to feed them. a lot of rh's will provide a cheaper meal for them like a cold cut platter sor something. they will eat in a separate place...not with your guests

Re: Does anyone know if vendor count as a guest on the wedding guest list or not?
unless you actually have it in your contract with each vendor, I think it's up to you wahta you want to do about feeding them.since the photographer is with you from early on and doesn't have a chane to eat, they should get a meal. however, if your'e doing an evening wedding and the DJ comes at 5 or 6 they could easily eat before . . so you could choose not to feed them and just add a bit to the tip especially depening on the plate charge. as some have said if the vendor is recommended by the RH they charge less and usually 1/2 for other vendors.
don't need to count the florist who doesn't stay.

Re: Does anyone know if vendor count as a guest on the wedding guest list or not?
you do put them towards headcount but no they dont get a seat, they dont eat with your guests. Some vendors are free and others are half price. But vendors can be counted towards your headcount if by any chance you will be under your minimum so that helps, this way you also dont pay extra either if any are half price if they get counted towards headcount to meet the minimumWelcome New Vendors
