And I think I'm going to have pumkpin spiced beer as our signature drink
Love fall
OMG i LOVE this idea! FH & I want to add 2 craft beers to the regular selection (dont know which ones yet)
which brewery are u getting the pumpkin spiced beer from? did you ever try the one from southern tier or weyerbacher?? soooooo good!
I've never tried either of those....but I need to!
I personally love Dogfish Head, but it's really expensive! I love John Harvards too
ooo i dont think i've tried those 2, i def have to, thanks!
most pumpkin beer is really good... Christi, why dont you ask your favorite bar if they can help you out and get a keg of it. Maybe your hall can have a keg of it hooked up to the tap system?? I want to do this too but I have to ask my favorite bar, they are cool people so I'm sure they can help me out with it.

Re: What's different about your wedding?
FH and I are getting married at a really unique and cozy location- DanfordsBridal party is walking into At Last by Etta James and our exit will be to Its The End of the World as You Know It!
Having a 'Hands Ceremony' instead of unity candle or sand ceremony
Having cigars with personalized labels and matchbooks
Favor will be caramels from my and FHs favorite candy store (yummm!)
Mashed potato bar!
I know this is a little thing but on the card table will be my stethoscope (gonna be a doctor in May!) and FH's fire helmet :)

Cigar Roller
A Dunkin Donuts Coffee Station (my FH is obsessed) with the 1/2 dozen Boxes that guests can fill up and take home
Our Favors are Cook Books that we had binded and made up of our favorite recipes from family and friends with pictures of us in it. (My FH is a Chef/Restaurant Owner and I am a Certified Pastry Chef)
Instead of coming out of the wall in Russo's on the Bay in the Renaissance Room we are going to come out of the doors but the waitstaff is going to hold sparklers
We are having a Jazz Rock Band for the Cocktail Hour and Bongos Drums for the Reception.
I think I'm done :)
I forgot one thing! Each guest or couple is leaving with the Sunday Paper (Saturday night wedding) and a 1/2 dozen bagels
I LOVE the Sunday paper & bagels take home treat!! Is Russo's setting this up for you??

We are using beach grass as our centerpieces and instead of using bow with the chair covers, we are going to having roping to make it look more rustic/beach.
just found another hall twin!!!!!!!!!!
EXCITING!

My friends father is walking me down the aisle (even though my fathers alive) if my parents show up they will be treated just as any guest (my friends parents raised me for a large part of my life) and I think I have two over everything because I can decide on anything

Re: What's different about your wedding?
nothing one of a kind- but we are going vintage with an old style photobooth, cigar roller, trumpeteers when the guests are walking in to announce them, live piano player/singer when i walk down the aisle, and some sort of after party (possibly a roulette table as a suprise to FH), and my fav feathers in the centerpeices :)Ha thought of a few more- frozen drink station (summer and outdoor cocktail hour), and our signature drink is frozen as well (well at least one of them will be), and breakfast to go for the guests as they walk out (and the women will get flowers from the centerpeices).

We're having Irish Dancers at our wedding as well. I irish step danced for over 15years, so we thought it would add a nice touch.

Re: What's different about your wedding?
Hm...-We are going to have a children's processional to 'Ave Maria' and have the kids place flowers at the feet of the Virgin Mary.
-Beers from around the world station
-Signature drink
-FH and I are going to do a getaway exit to our guests holding sparklers
And if all goes according to plan:
A marriachi band

One of my sorority sisters is our Rabbi. She really is a Rabbi, which is shocking in itself. She is very reformed. I am so excited for how intimate it will be bc of her!
