September Brides?

My wedding is scheduled for late September and we are considering rescheduling as a result of COVID19. I have been very lucky that my vendors have been understanding and flexible with us thus far while we try to decide. My mother, who works as a nurse, highly doubts that we would be able to proceed with a 120 person wedding by September. Even if we could, would people comfortable attending/dancing? I’ve heard some May brides have rescheduled to my date but I’m uncertain we’ll still be able to have a wedding by then. Curious for feedback on what others are doing, specifically those with September/October weddings.

Maybe talk to your venue (and then vendors) and see if they’d be willing to ‘hold’ a date later next year for you, just in case you do need to postpone. It’s a tricky situation as lots of early/mid 2020 brides have already had the opportunity to reschedule and are booking up 2021 dates already.  It may give you peace of mind to know you have a date reserved in case you need to postpone closer to the time.

Hi Kelsabels.  My wedding is on 10/10/20 and my fiance and I  just made the decision to scale the wedding down to immediate family and bridal party.  I t will be the same wedding, just much smaller scale (175 ppl to 38).  I t feels good that we've made a decisions.
