Cancellations...with less the 1 week to go

My wedding is Sunday. Every day since last Sunday, someone has called and cancelled for the wedding.
Sunday- my cousin- has a big test the next day
Monday- FH's cousin's husband- going out of town for work- must be a brain surgeon
Tuesday- My dad's friends wife- can't come- no explaination
Wednesday- Mom's friend- doesn't want to go alone.

I'm not answering my phone for the next 4 days.

Hang in there..the night before my wedding, DH's cousins and aunt and uncle said they couldn't come because they all came down with the flu. I think

..but it worked out and even though I stressed about it and obviously it still bothers me, I had a great time at the wedding. PS His aunt and uncle and cousins ended up coming...funny, they didn't look sick!

I had similar cancellations as well. Even had a bunch of no shows!

One no show in particular p!ssed me off!! He was supposed to bring me a homemade cake topper as a surprise gift to my husband. We totally wrote him off.

I understand emergency situations come up- I had to cancell a wedding once but it was because of a death in the family 3 days before the wedding. But not for any of these excuses.

I'm just glad I gave the reception hall a count of minus 4 of what I really had.
