Some of the hottest trends are definitely a smoky eye for a fun night out, soft and subtle for daytime
What are some of the hottest trends for this season?
Some of the hottest trends are definitely a smoky eye for a fun night out, soft and subtle for daytime. A sheer pink lip-gloss is a great summer accessory along with a bronzed glow to the cheeks and where you would be sun-kissed for a healthy everyday look. Don't forget moisturizing light foundation (or tinted moisturizer) with an SPF too!
When should a bride and her mom and gals come in for a trial?
As soon as possible. Not only will you have one thing checked off your big 'to do' list, but you will have plenty of time to change anything if you wanted to. Glam Me Up travels to you - so it's great to work around your schedule!
How many trials should a bride and her gals have before the big day?
Usually 1 trial is enough, however if the bride did her trial in the off season of her wedding and her skin color has changed drastically due to a tan or lack thereof, then I would recommend another one a few weeks before to adjust any colors. Also, if a bride wants to change her look, and try a different technique, such as airbrushing, I would suggest a 2nd trial. At your trial, it is Glam Me Up's goal and pleasure to stay as long as needed until the bride is totally satisfied and happy with her desired look and vision.
How about natural products, do you work with those?
I work with a wide range of professional make up, including some nature inspired and green products.
What looks work best for photos?
For photos, it's the little things that make photos look best…such as a sun-kissed, sheer glow on the cheeks that gives a healthy look. False eyelashes also look amazing on everyone - they just make the eye 'pop' and set the bride apart. Airbrushing gives a flawless look and can hide blemishes, beauty marks and make for a smooth, porcelain finish that will last all day/night long. Lastly, a great lip color layered with a glossy finish will complete the look for perfect photos!
How much in advance of the wedding should a bride book with you?
As soon as you’re happy with your trial or even right away, if the wedding is coming up quickly. I sometimes book a few years in advance, so if a bride wants to book Glam Me Up, it is important to book right away, just as with any of their other services to help ensure a well-planned, stress-free day!
