Cherry Blossom Centerpieces

HI! Has anyone used cherry blossoms in their centerpieces or as their centerpieces? What was the price like for tall centerpieces? Thanks!

Re: Cherry Blossom Centerpieces

Don't quote me, but i wanted to do that b/c my colors are brown & pink, but my florist said the branches are 35 - 45 a pc. & you need 6-8 branches per pc., i went with a similar idea, that was to much to spend for branches (even though stunning) & no one can even take them home...

Re: Cherry Blossom Centerpieces

high branch cp's cost more than other high cp's. Depending what time of year you get them it can be about $175-200 but i was told even more than $175 more towards the $200 each range. If its winter maybe get a better price

Re: Cherry Blossom Centerpieces

You can get a similar look, for less money, by using curly willow and orchids.

If we had had a spring wedding, I would have LOVED this look. But I went with something more in season for November...

Re: Cherry Blossom Centerpieces

We didn't end up going with them, but we were quoted $150-$175 for cherry blossoms in pilsners. We received the quote in late 2006-early 2007 for our May 2007 wedding. I didn't ask about keeping the vases, though. Good luck.

Re: Cherry Blossom Centerpieces

i will be doing cherry blossom centerpieces as well...however i didn't go to my florist yet. But to try to keep costs down i will be doing some high and some low with different flowers. My wedding is the end of March of 2009 and one florist said they can still get them...FYI if you love cherry blossoms there is a park called Branch Brook Park in belleville NJ. My RH is inside this park and it has over 1200 cherry blossom trees. Its peak season is actually this week . Its a beautiful park and a nice drive...check out the website

good luck girls!
