Quick Review - Westbury Manor, Lighthouse, Pastor April, Chic A Floral Boutique, etc...

Hi everyone! I just wanted to post up a quick review to let everyone know how wonderful my vendors were!!
Thank you to all the wonderful girls and guys on LIW, everyone is so supportive and helpful and it's great to see everyone's unique ideas.

Westbury Manor - A+++++++
I absolutely love this venue. I had never been to a wedding there but I fell in love with it when we went to go see it. My wedding was the beginning of May so the weather was inbetween warm/still chilly but they adjusted the location for cocktails, etc really smoothly. They had awesome food and drinks set up for during pictures, the hospitality for guests before the ceremony was wonderful and everyone raved about the cocktail hour food. I was so happy with them, I wish I could do it again.
Our ceremony was outside and it was beautiful.
My bridal attendant was AMAZING, the maitre d' was good but changed the schedule slightly but he worked with my vendors well and didn't push anything I didn't want to do too much so it was fine overall. And everyone was so nice with any questions I had.
I was in the Garden Room and had just under 100 guests. I thought it was the perfect size and you could fit probably 130 people in there. Even though I didn't have the biggest event, they always treated me like I was important and they were one of the few venues that never tried to squeeze 50 more plates out of me.
Like I said, I wish I could have another party there, the staff made my night so special.

Francesco's Bakery - A
The cake was provided from them by Westbury Manor. I jazzed it up with flowers from the florist and my cake toppers/decorations. The cake was delicious and cake tasting was fun. The only thing that happened was they said I could drop off ribbon to use at a later date and of course it didn't end up on the cake. I was disappointed but they used a plain ivory ribbon and it was OK. It wasn't my top priority otherwise I would have called to be sure they got my ribbon. Everyone said how delicious the cake was and it really was good.

Lighthouse Photography - A+++++++
They are amazing! I don't have a lot to say about them except they are easy to work with, the staff is SO MUCH FUN the day of (and during e-pics too) and they kept everyone having a good time even during all the tedious photos. I'm super happy with the photos we got back and they even added extra edited ones later. I think they are SO beautiful and our families are so happy with them.

5-Pin Studios Video - A++++++
I will be honest that the owner of this company is family but he personally did not do any video that day, only his staff. They were also so fun to have around that day and they worked GREAT with the other staff. I'm uncomfortable being on camera but I didn't notice them most of the time and when I did they were having fun with us so it was great.

Chic A Floral Boutique - A ++++++
I met Kristin at the LIW Expo and fell in love with her flower arrangements. Flowers were not my priority and I waited a long time to book them but when I met with Kristin my mom wanted to book her right away. She is so nice and puts a lot of creativity into her work. She gave me the bouquet I pictured and my centerpieces were beautiful. They even lasted for days after the wedding. I could not recommend them more.

Pastor April - A+++++++
She is amazing! Our first meeting was great, I felt like she was going to do a great job right away. She's so easy to work with on any edits and I am a non traditional bride but she was easy going about it all. All my guests loved the ceremony and I love how it was personal incorporating quotes and lines that I wanted. She did a beautiful job of printing it up and giving us a binder with the ceremony and also helping with information to get the marriage license and name change done.

DJ Gary Hoffman / 74 Events - A ++++++++++++
I heard about this DJ from LIW and I am SO GLAD that I did! I was a little nervous that I booked just a DJ and not one of these companies with fancy booths and lights, etc but it's honestly not what we wanted being that I was having a smaller event anyway. We are both musicians and I wanted someone to seamlessly blend music so that I wouldn't even notice. I get that I'm a little more picky than most people and I am not a jerk about it but I wanted amazing music at my own wedding. Gary was awesome... he blended music that our families loved, classic wedding stuff and then songs that we requested flawlessly. So many more people were dancing than I even expected but everyone had a great time. He was great with the announcements too, he did them when necessary and the rest of the night the music did the job and there was nothing extra needed. I was SO HAPPY with this choice at the end of the night.

Camelot Limos - A
I used the limo company just to pick the guys up, drop them off at the venue, then come get us at the hotel and drop us off at the venue. They gave me a great price and they arrived in a really nice car. The driver was just OK thought. When he got the our hotel he called me and spoke to one of my bridesmaids and thought he didn't have to pick us up for another two hours? It was on my contract (which I had with me) the time so I don't know what happened. Then he sat in the car with me while I was waiting to get out for the first look and was like chatting which is nice but my photog was trying to give me directions as well. It all worked out fine, just confusing sometimes and the company itself was always great to work with.

Afresh Approach Favors - A+++++
Their chocolates are AMAZING. They did a beautiful job with truffle pops and they used my own favor tags that I provided. They even gave us an extra dish of truffles and strawberries for us and it was MUCH appreciated!!

Sweetheart Shout Out Invitations - A+++++
I got a coupon for invitations from here and they had a musical design that fit our theme that I fell in love with. The prices were good so I even got favor tags and address labels to match. Everyone they sent was beautiful and the designer was nice to work with online.

Hair - Metro Modes, Merrick A ++++++
I've been going here for a long time so I knew they'd be awesome. Everyone's hair came out beautiful and my hair stylist is amazing and did everything I asked. I can't recommend them enough!

Dress - Priscilla of Boston Sample Sale
Unfortunately they are no longer in business but I scored my dress at a sample sale of theirs and I LOVE IT. I haven't even gotten it preserved yet because I don't want to put it away :(

Alterations by Gina - A++++
She is amazing! She hemmed and gave me a bustle and her price was great. They are all so nice at the shop.

Twigs and Honey for my Headpiece - A++++
WOW they have amazing things at this shop. Most items are handmade. I bought my headpiece after eyeing it for a LONG time. I knew I wasn't wearing a veil so I wanted something to really stand out. I finally bought one during Black Friday when they had a discount. It arrived even more stunning than I expected.
