I'm thinking music similar to whatever you're having played while dinner is being served. So probably mellow type music - some Frank Sinatra or something.

Ahh, okay, thanks. That's what I thought. I have this fear that people are going to be dancing feverishly and be all annoyed to stop and eat dessert. Then again, it's an afternoon wedding, so they probably won't be many people dancing.
Okay, ignore me! I'm just stressing, as usual!

My vienesse was served outside of the main room and I specifically asked my DJ to keep the party music going. I didn't want slow or dinner music played. Too often do I see people feel viennese is their signal to go home because the party is winding down. The only thing was people at my wedding go so enttralled by all the goodies they stayed in that room and ate! DH and I walked back to the party room and it was pretty much empty. lol!! But people were able to come right back in and continue to party when they finished with the goodies!

We are having our band stay the extra hour for the Viennese hour.

I'm not having the vienese hour, but if I were, I would keep my band going with upbeat music. An hour is a long time to eat dessert, and some people won't even have any. I would keep the party going. JMO
