Prep Place for Morning Of Wedding

Hey brides- I was wondering if anyone has ever been in this situation. Our church and reception are pretty far away (40+ min), and we definitely want to stay near the reception for the night of the wedding. The problem is becoming the day of. My family lives equally as far, and all hotels make you check out by 11 am which is about 3 hours earlier than we’d ideally leave for the ceremony. I’m looking into Airbnb’s but that comes with other complications.

Did you ask for a late checkout? The hotel I got ready in let us stay and check out late around 230 pm because we explained to them that my bridal party was getting ready/taking pictures there before the ceremony. The other option would be booking the hotel for another night even though you would not be staying there, if that makes sense. I hope this helps!

Hello! If you're still looking for suggestions, why don't you just book for another night and stay there after the wedding with your Husband to be. Just an idea. Congratulations!

hello! yes we did and unfortunately none of the hotels would let us accommodate this which i thought was crazy. i offered to pay extra for the additional 2-3 hours and nothing. was disappointed by that

we did not want to book and stay in the same place because of how far away they were, but unfortunately with the situation as it stands, we wound up finding someplace about 15-20 min away from the church and about a half hour from our reception. we will bite the bullet and return there after the night is over.
