Newly engaged
Hi everyone. I am newly engaged. Wanting to know if anyone knows how to do weddings on Long Island but on a tight budget of only $10,000.00 max. Anyone have suggestions ideas? I'm 39 and my fiancee is 43. Our first wedding. I want it to be romantic, and special. Not sure what to do. Help!

RE:Newly engaged
Hi there! I've had 2 weddings on long island lol and yes they were a laugh lol my advice, especially if you're on a budget lol, don't have your wedding at one of these fancy shmacy catering halls lol. Have it at a VFW, Knights of Columbus, or even a community center for the reception, or even the reception and the ceremony. Also with BOTH of my weddings barely anyone showed up to our ceremonys... the first one was in a Catholic church and it wasn't even a mass even though that's what I wanted but his family (who were the cradle Catholics who were so big on having it in the church) told me that no one would want to sit through a mass and so we just had a ceremony... I wanna say only his and my immediate family showed up and that was it... Imagine my surprise when the catering hall was filled with the brim with all these strange people who had decided that coming to a wedding only ment showing up to the reception

RE:Newly engaged
There are many beautiful restaurants that host weddings. I'm having a smaller wedding and found it hard to get a low minimum at most venues.

The cottage at east wind has an all inclusive package that’s really cheap and reasonable for the off season.
