After looking at 21 other venues ...Finally My husband and I got married yesterday and had our reception at the stronebridge!!!!. I have no words to discribe how amazing our day went. Gary was unreal. He went above and beyond from day one and made our day go off without a glitch. I have been in several wedding and by far Iris was the greatest bridal attendant I saw. Paul held the whole thing down. Every waiter, bartender was so unbelievable that I recieved compliments all night on them. And hats off the the amazing chef! I would suggest this venue to everyone. Thank you for our amazing unforgettable day!

I recently had my wedding at Stonebridge. Steve and Gary and all the staff at this venue were amazing! They made sure everything was exactly how we pictured it to be and even better. The food is delicious and the place is just beautiful inside and out. All our guests raved about how terrific everything was. I highly recommend it.

We knew when we started the process of looking for a venue for our daughter's wedding, that there were certain Long Island spots we had to visit. We were looking for ours to be the only wedding at the time. We quickly narrowed the list by eliminating multi-party locations. We asked friends and family for recommendations, and we had been to several functions ourselves, so there was a certain look and a certain "feel" that we were after. I must say, that not many places "did it" for us. It was suggested that we see The Stonebridge Country Club in Smithtown. Before we made an appointment, we did some research, and found that The Lessings Organization were the caterers there. That was good news to us because we were familiar with some of their restaurants. We went, we saw artist renderings, they were in the midst of renovating, and we met a gentleman named Gary, who assured us that "not only would the renderings come to life", but that the food, and the service would match the beauty of the new space. My daughter loved the fact that it was new; none of our family or friends had ever been there before, and we felt a confidence in Gary, that he meant what he said, and was passionate about making my daughter's vision of her wedding day, become a reality. We put down a deposit to secure the space, made several visits periodically to see the progress, and tasted the food on several occasions. Stonebridge, did look better than the renderings that sold us. We couldn't wait! The day finally came this past summer. The space was beautiful, the food was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were beyond attentive. Our Maitre'D was Matt and my daughter's attendant was Jolene..professionals who love what they do. All what we were promised was delivered, and I would not hesitate to recommend Gary, and The Stonebridge Country Club to anyone planning a wedding. To say that I am tough to please is an understatement. Having run several businesses, I know how difficult it can be to find exceptional talent that is willing to go above and beyond to service their customers. And to be completely honest, I have been to over 60 weddings in my life. I thought I knew a lot about wedding planning but I am man enough to admit.. I was over my head! We booked Stonebridge basically site unseen due to their impending renovation. My wife and I were a little hesitant at first, but after meeting with Gary Schneider (Manager of Sales), we put our trust in his vision and professionalism. The renovation is remarkable! Also, Gary was there to answer any and all of our questions. No matter how much you think you know about weddings and planning, Gary knows more! Every detail was seen too. A few days prior to our event, we had the opportunity to meet some of the staff including our Matre'd, the Head and Sous chefs and a few of the bar staff. They seemed just as excited to meet us as we were to meet them. And come the day of our reception, I can honestly say everyone from our Matre'd Ashley to our amazing Bridal Attendant Jolene, bent over backwards to make our affair something our guests will be talking about for years (possibly decades) to come! Aside from the service, the food was literally five star quality. We chose to go non traditional by opting for the duck and swordfish, to compliment the filet mignon. Many of our guests commented, "I have never had such good duck"! All we ever heard while planning our wedding was that there were two things that make or break a wedding: Food and music. Add the band we hired, "Code Bleu", to Stonebridge and we achieved excellence in both areas! If you want one less thing to worry about when planning your wedding, call Gary at Stonebridge. If they have your date open then you will have no worries. If they happen to have your date booked, I would consider changing your date... it is definitely worth it!
