If I could give more than 5 stars, I probably would. Beyond beautiful venue with the most amazing staff. Gary was amazing to work with from day 1 - easy going, always happy, and best of all: alway quick to respond to email/phone calls whenever we had questions. Planning the menu and preparations for the actual day where a breeze. He was incredibly accommodating and went out of his way to make sure all our concerns were addressed and everything was as easy for us as possible. Day-of was awesome. The girls got ready in the AMAZING 2 bedroom bridal suite and it was nothing short of magical. There was so much room to spread out and enjoy- we brought a sound dock and had a dance party all day. The fridge in the full kitchen was stocked and someone even brought up fresh milk for our coffee and cream cheese for our bagels! Twice Gary himself came up and delivered sandwiches and snacks to make sure everyone was well fed before we left for the church. The master-suite bedroom has phenomenal light and the perfect set up for bridal portraits. We took all of our pictures at Stonebridge - there was no reason to go to another location-the grounds were gorgeous, (and lucky for us, there was fresh, untouched snow!) as was the fireplace inside. We did family portraits inside - and there was no lack of space (during this time that bridal suite was pretty much a party on it's own). Everywhere was beautiful. My bridal attendants were absolutely outstanding- fixing my dress, holding my drink (making sure it was full), hanging on to my sweater. I've never been taken care of like that before. The actual reception completely exceeded my expectations of what my wedding would be. I'm pretty sure our maitre d, Paul, cloned himself, because he was everywhere (and always with a smile). My mom told me he mysteriously appeared behind her to pull out her chair every time she sat down, which I thought was incredible because he mysteriously appeared behind me every time I sat down too! My bridal attendants stayed close all night helping me out too. The entire staff was friendly and provided the best service. Not a single thing went wrong all night. The space itself was beautiful, and the layout was perfect: the bar in the cocktail room that was left open to the main reception room allowed people to get up and stand at the bar to get a drink, chat, or get away from the music if they needed. At one point I looked around and I noticed that even if people weren't dancing, almost no one was sitting down. It was more like being at a party than a wedding. Oh, and there were also lounge areas set up in the corners of the room-that's right, LOUNGE AREAS. Awesome. Lastly, the food. So. Much. Food. Every single person I spoke to said that not only was it the best wedding food they had ever had, it was actually the best filet mignon they had ever had. They say the bride doesn't eat at her wedding, well I stuffed my face!

I just had my wedding here on 12-12-15. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. I had nothing but positive things to say. Management was professional and helpful, staff was efficient and fast, the food was delicious! The apple pie was a bonus dessert and got so many who raved about it ! every guest I speak to is telling me it's the best wedding they have been to in a long time! There was absolutely NO hiccups. Everything went smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The venue is newly renovated and really beautiful in a classic way ( not gawdy!) like many of the other popular spots on LI. The bridal AND groom suits were beautiful! We had beautiful outdoor ceremony in December with this crazy weather and it was memorable and beautiful. The decor for Christmas was classic and tasteful. I can't say anything more but to book them if your looking! Reasonably priced compared to other places we looked in addition !! Happy bride ! Happy groom! :)

From my first appointment in February 2014 to the Wedding Day on October 23, 2015, a ten out of ten for Gary Schneider and the team of consummate professionals at Stonebridge Country Club in Smithtown, Long Island, New York! I met Gary in February 2014, on a sun drenched bitter-cold February morning to discuss the possibility of booking my Daughter and Son-in-Law’s October 2015 wedding ceremony and reception. Gary greeted us with a warm welcome and oddly enough, hard-hats. The Stonebridge was in the process of undergoing renovations. As Gary, with his very enthusiastic and personable personality showed us around, his passion for the project was both palpable and contagious. His enthusiasm and delight in describing what the finished project would look like upon completion, was well received by me. As I toured the empty space, with its freshly poured cement and newly installed pipes; my ears heard the sounds of electricians high up on ladders feeding wires through the rafters. I looked around and took in the view from the exquisite wrap around floor-to-ceiling glass windows and envisioned the evening. In that moment, I knew this was the venue for my Daughter and Son-in-Law’s enchanted fairytale dream wedding come to life. Stonebridge not only met my checklist of needs and expectations, but exceeded them! The second floor boasts all the amenities of a 5-star hotel, with luxurious bridal and groom suites. As a professional event and wedding planner, I didn’t hesitate. After a brief discussion with my Daughter and Son-in-Law, I signed the contract. Gary suggested we return that autumn to see the completed renovation. As per his advice, we did return that October, and as we eagerly entered the room, we were struck by the hues of harvest golds, brilliant oranges and crimson reds from the outside fall foliage which was visible through the glass panorama walls. It was an autumn wonderland, which begged for the eye to invite the outside in and the inside out, one word said it all… Stunning! The reception space had turned out exactly as Gary had envisioned and as I had anticipated it would. In all my dealings with Gary, he was extremely professional, very helpful and always attentive in addressing any concerns or questions that I might have had. As both a planner and the Mother-of-the-Bride, it was important for me to find a space that could be transformed into a “fairytale come true atmosphere”; Stonebridge is that place! I enjoyed working with all of the great team members at Stonebridge: Gary, Steve, Ashley, Paul, Betsy, Iris, and the countless others, including the chefs, who created dishes that are still receiving rave reviews from those in attendance. Each staff members’ contribution of their individual talents and professionalism made for a flawless and fabulous event. I found that their dynamic personalities and impeccable attention to detail were all, bonuses! Stonebridge is a true Long Island Gem!

My fiancé Jennifer and I struggled for several months to find the perfect wedding venue. When we stepped foot in the front door of Stonebridge, we knew we found the place for our wedding. We booked our wedding there, and we couldn't have been more happy to do so. Our wedding day, and all the days leading up to it, were incredible. Gary and his staff were amazing throughout the whole process. They all were very personable, willing to meet all of our needs, and extremely easy to work with. The night of our wedding was perfect. The day of our wedding went incredibly smooth. Our matre'd Ashely made our day perfect, from the moment we arrived in the morning to leaving the venue she was right by our side making sure we didn't have to worry about anything and getting whatever we needed! The food was incredible, we were able to attend our cocktail hour, all the dishes were delicious! During the reception, we received each plate listed on the menu. We really enjoyed sampling each dish! Our wedding cake was also delicious! We were allowed to add vanilla ice cream with sautéed bananas as an addition with the cake for each guest; it was a great touch. Throughout the whole night, our guests couldn't stop raving over the food and venue. We are beyond happy on the decision to have our wedding at Stonebridge! They accomedated all our requests and served all our needs!

Such an amazing place with great staff and amazing food. I highly recommend it to anyone.
