Tell us about The Inn at New Hyde Park and some of the location’s history.

The Inn at New Hyde Park is a New York landmark that has been a family owned and operated since 1938. The modern history of the award-winning event and catering hall began with our 2005 expansion. The Inn nearly tripled in size to 100,000 square feet. We added sprawling gardens, a heated underground parking area, 3 new ballrooms, bridal suites a unique reception area, and updated technology. When standing in our garden and looking back on the building, many of our guests believe the Inn’s look and feel honors the history of the area’s famous Gold Coast Mansions.

The Inn at New Hyde Park’s catering and event planning management team has more than 200 years of experience combined. The Inn features the largest bridal suites on Long Island, the most cocktail seating, permanent bars in all rooms, handcrafted custom ceilings, and our one-of-a-kind Tuscany room. Popular for cocktail hour, receptions, engagement parties and anniversaries, the Tuscany room replicates an outdoor setting on the streets of an Italian town with built-in stations of food from around the world.
