Wow! The Douglaston Manor was so amazing, we don't even know where to start! First and foremost is the venue itself: absolutely exquisite. Wonderful visuals from every angle both inside AND outside the manor makes a perfect setting for almost any occasion, especially weddings. If you are looking for a venue with beautiful visuals for your event, especially a daytime wedding, this is your place. Our professional photographs were breathtaking! This manor sits right on a golf course, so you can imagine how wonderful some of our pictures were...and we were even able to take some pictures on the course itself, which was very nice. Then there's the staff. We had the absolute pleasure of having Anthony Calogero as our Banquet Manager, and he was absolutely incredible for us. He was very knowledgeable and was always able to answer our questions, he walked us through all the difficult decisions and helped guide us through some of the more difficult planning steps along the way which for a young, callow couple like us really helped comfort us. He deserves honorable mention for helping make our dreams come true. Their owners and other staff members were also very kind and greeted us often, which we appreciated - in particular Claudia, who was an absolute pleasure. This manor also gives you the option of having your wedding ceremony on premises, either indoor (in a chapel-like setting) or outside in their beautiful gazebo setup. Believe me, our guests REALLY appreciated that convenience. And did we mention how LARGE this mansion is?! There is so much space for many guests, and it was awesome. The food was outstanding as well. VERY wide range of selections for both your cocktail hour, which was fully customizable (which we loved!) and also the dinner portion. The Grilled Shell Steak & the Seabass Oreganata in particular got rave reviews from our guests! All-in-all, the Douglaston Manor far exceeded our expectations. They really made our dreams of a storybook wedding come true, and we would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful venue that can handle a large amounts of guests (ours was 200+). Absolutely exquisite!!!

My wedding was held at Douglaston Manor on September 26th 2015. Everyone on the staff was helpful, accommodating and friendly. The venue is absolutely beautiful, I couldn't have dreamed up a more perfect place for my wedding. Claudia one of the owners even personally helped with some of our wedding details, which meant so much that she took her own time to do so. My bridal attendant Lisa, omg I can not even say enough about her. She was the best part of my entire wedding, from helping me with everything and I do mean EVERYTHING to helping control little glitches that arose. My husband and I love Douglaston manor and everything about it, not only would we highly recommend it for other couples but we plan on spending our new years there as well as having other parties there!!
