My husband and I recently met with Deb and Ives to design our digital album and pick out enlargements I am constantly impressed with the professionalism with which Ive's operates. In order to make wedding photography process as stress free as possible Ive's explains up front exactly how much time it takes front start to finish to capture you wedding memories. When choosing a wedding photographer it is important to realize how much time goes into the 'process.' Photos of the heart provide you with a handy timeline explaining how much time and effort they will put into providing you with an album of lasting memories. After you hire POTH you meet with Ives to discuss the where, when, what and how your wedding day is planned and what memories you want to capture on your special day. The week of your wedding to double check the details, they arrive early and stay with you all day and night. Once your proofs are they meet with you to go over your package and discuss different options available in your album. They also give you your proofs in chronological order. Once you choose your album pictures you then sit down with Ives again to go over the album. He works every hard to make sure your album is distinctive and reflects your personal style. I cannot wait to go back and see how the final product turns out. When hiring a wedding photographer I did not realize how much time and energy would go into the process of creating my wedding album. I am confident My husband and I made the correct choice using photos of the heart. They are experienced, professional and truly care about their craft.

Deb and Ives Morris were professional, Punctual and thorough. This dyanmic husband and wife team truly know photography. Just about every photo they took was one for the wedding album. We had 5 hours between the ceremony and the reception. This extra time allowed for a variety of pictures in a myriad Photos of the heart is truly a class act. My husband and I made the best choice ever for our photographer. Photos of the Heart is true to its name. From the moment we met Debra and Ives our decision was made. They are truly one of a kind. We were planning our wedding long distance which of course causes limitations, but because of their experience, knowledge, and talent this was our smoothest task. Their extreme attention to detail and perfectionism to every step made this process flawless. They went above and beyond to accomodate us with our long distance challenges, that the very next day after our wedding they were ready to meet with us with our proofs!!! We were able to see our breathtaking photos and choose our albums at our convienience with no stress at all! Our wedding photos are so beautiful we feel they are artwork. The hardest decision was choosing which photos for our album. Our gratitude and appreciation to Debra and Ives will be everylasting. They are truly a gift to photography.

Ives and Debbie make a great team. My best friend used them 4 years ago and there is nothing better than seeing someone in action. i said i will remember them for the day I get married and 4 years later i did and I called Ives right of way to book them. They are great to work with. They were on time. Ives takes many hours to work with you and tell you everything you need to do to make your day perfect. Ives and Debbie know how to time your day perfectly so you can enjoy the day and do not need to be rushed. Debbie and Ives definately are the photographer you want. My pictures are FANTASTIC!!!

I choose Photos of the Heart because of their experience, love of photography, and most importantly their beautiful photographs. On the morning of my wedding day Debbie and Ives set up in my living room and started shooting still shots. When I was made-up and dressed Debbie took her time and posed me in pictures that were just breathtaking, for example, catching the profile of my face in the morning sun and always making sure my dress was fixed just-so. Ives was humorous and patient. He took the time to get just the right shot. I didn’t realize all the factors that went into getting the perfect shot, but Debbie and Ives do. From lighting and posing, background in focus or blurry (on purpose), or facial expressions that tell a story, Photos of the Heart did not miss a beat. My photographs capture every moment of my wedding day, from the small tray of fruit that we nibbled on in the morning to the expression on my face during our first dance…priceless. Although we were blessed with a beautiful summer day, the hot sun was not so pleasant on us for outdoor pictures. No problem though for Ives as he moved us into the shade and was able to get perfect shots with the proper lighting. My family and friends were very thankful for his quick fix! At the reception I was impressed with Debbie and Ives ability to seem…invisible. Let me explain. They were never “in my face” with the camera or lighting. My husband and I enjoyed every moment of our day without feeling overwhelmed with equipment around us. We were simply surrounded by beautiful flowers, wonderful friends and family, delicious food, and picturesque scenery – all of which were caught on Ives’s camera without even knowing it. When we first saw our photographs for the first time we were all smiles as we relived our special day. Ives and Debbie were personable and caring. Ives made sure we were going to be on time for wedding morning appointments so we wouldn’t be caught without time before the ceremony to do special pictures. We discussed the wedding day details a month in advance so we were all on the same page, including vendors, family, bridal party and even us! Ives took the time to ask us about our Honeymoon and let us borrow his Hawaiian tour books and DVD’s to get familiar with the islands we were visiting. We spoke at length about the beauty of the islands and popular attractions, like the Heavenly Road to Hana in Maui. All in all, Photos of the Heart has been nothing short of spectacular throughout my entire wedding process. From the first introduction to wedding photography, packages and prices to creating and organizing my custom album, Photos of the Heart has been a blessing.
