We took private dance classes at Dance Reverie. The instructors were simply amazing. In just eight classes, we went from two people who have never formally danced to having a choreographed dance and being comfortable enough on the dance floor to improvise if things didn't go according to plan. Not only did we get tons of compliments on our wedding dance, but the techniques they taught us worked so well that when we went to other events after our wedding people have us room on the dance floor just to watch us dance. Full disclosure, both my fiancé and I came to Dance Reverie with two left feet. We got a class on Groupon and enjoyed it so we scheduled more classes to work on a some dance moves for our upcoming wedding. Our instructor, Kyle, is an amazing coach and we are both impressed at how far we progressed after only a few classes. In addition to giving us the necessary skills, Kyle’s teaching style has given us confidence to perform in front of our guests and we are really excited to see the end result. Most importantly these classes are fun, I can see us going back after the wedding to work on some new skills. If you are looking to choreograph a dance or just learn how to dance with a partner definitely recommend coming here!

Kyle was absolutely fantastic in preparing us for our first dance. We have never taken dance lessons before and the moves seemed intimidating at first but Kyle did a great job breaking everything down and making each segment simple to follow. We is very accommodating to your songs and preferences and is an amazingly talented dancer and instructor. We highly recommend the 5 lesson package with additional lessons as needed. Even though we began preparing pretty late (1 month before our wedding), Kyle made sure that we were prepared for our entire song well before the big day. He went above and beyond in professionalism and took extraordinary care to make sure that we got the most out of each lesson. The dance that he taught us was not just simple choreography meant for a specific song but rather an interchangeable skill-set that we've been able to use in other songs and at other occasions as well! There is absolutely no end to the positive things that we can say about Dance Reverie and the only way to understand it is to go in and see for yourself

My fiance and I really wanted to learn a fun dance routine for our first dance and decided to take dance lessons. after taking 4 lessons at another dance studio, we felt like it was a huge waste of time. we then decided to give dance lessons one last try, and found Dance Reverie on Groupon. after just the first lesson, we felt like we learned so much! we were so happy we found Dance Reverie, and decided to purchase more lessons with Kyle. he was absolutely amazing! he made the dance so much fun and easy to learn. after each lesson we left the studio excited to dance our first dance at our wedding

I highly recommend Dance Reverie for lessons for the first dance at your wedding. My fiancée and I originally went in for a free first dance lesson, but then signed up for 3 more right away and eventually ended up taking 6 sessions in total. Kyle is an incredible teacher who is very patient and just "gets it" in terms of not only teaching complete beginners how to dance well, but also how to fix problems that you encounter while learning along the way with his tips and tricks. He is extremely knowledgeable and models everything for you while playing whatever song you chose for your first dance during the sessions. Kyle taught us a ballad style dance for the first dance at our wedding and the style, tempo, and moveset of the dance went perfectly with the song that we chose. We can't recommend Kyle and Dance Reverie enough. Go take your first free lesson and you will see first-hand what I mean. You won't regret it!
