My husband and I decided to take dance lessons for our first dance as Mr. and Mrs. We came across Dance Reverie and we are so happy we did. We only planned on taking 3 classes and ended up taking 6, we had a blast learning. The team at Dance Reverie is welcoming and friendly. Our instructor, Irene was fantastic! She taught in a way my husband and I could both understand. I would highly recommend this studio.

My (now)husband and I have no dance background and were nervous about having our first dance in front of all of our guests. Irene and the crew at Dance Reverie helped us prepare for our big day. We started our dance classes in Feb for our end of May wedding- I'm a resident and my husband is a pilot so getting the same day off takes some figuring out. If we had more flexible schedules we could have compressed our lessons less time and gotten the same great result. Irene and company were great at teaching us and showing us some great combinations for our first dance song. We used "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars. Additionally, Irene was just wonderful at helping with the father-daughter dance. My dad is hard of hearing so it was tricky for him to follow any song but he learned all the steps. My parents came along to watch our lessons. My mom was quite amazed with not only my progress but also Dad's and Michael's. The day of our wedding, all our friends were impressed with Michael's "slick moves" and I was so thrilled to have had two great memories made that day. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Kyle and your amazing team of dance instructors. My wife and I took eight private dance classes at Dance Reverie last February and March. In just eight hours we went from two people who never formally danced to being comfortable with a dozen formal dance moves and transitions. Not only did we get an amazingly choreographed dance for our own wedding, but we are now so much more confident dancing that people actually make room on the dance floor just to watch us dance. We were both very nervous when we started our classes. I have never really liked dancing, and my wife doesn't normally wear high heels. Plus we have almost a foot of difference in height. The instructors managed to calm us down and work with us until we became confident enough to work through our routine and even improvise if something didn't go according to plan. My wife managed to dance on five inch stilettos like she's been doing it her entire life and I learned to shorten my step to work with her. It's been months since we took the classes and we are still having fun dancing at every occasion we attend.

Our first dance was very important to us, so my husband and I have been looking for a place to teach us and choreograph our dance for months. We didn’t want just choreographed steps, but we also wanted to learn how to dance and have fun together in the process. Dance Reverie turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. We had a song picked out, but had no idea what kind of dance we wanted to do. Our instructor made very useful suggestions and helped us pick a style that we were most comfortable in. Instead of teaching us just a series of steps, we actually feel like we learned how to dance. Our wedding dance was beautiful and we got many compliments. We have also been using many of the moves we learned during our lessons on the dance floor at many events and occasions, and we get compliments on our dancing every time. Due to our crazy work schedules, my husband and I were only able to take about 3 dance lessons the week before our wedding to help us with our first dance. Irina was amazing at helping us put together something that was simple enough for us to learn quickly but also beautiful! Our first dance went amazing (we even got the timing down perfectly!) and all of our family, friends and guests loved it
