I found my bridesmaids dresses on a website and was having trouble finding a store that carried the dress. After looking further into it, Bridal suite carried the designer. When we went there they did not have the exact dress I was looking for but they were so accommodating and they offered to order the dress at a discount for me, as long as I had 5 or more dresses to be ordered (which I did) She had color swatches and we picked the color and ordered the dresses. They were so flexible and followed up with my about the order and contacted the girls when the dresses came in.

I know bridal stores get mixed reviews, but here is a great story. I wanted a second gown...I found a picture online, even called the Manufacturer. NOBODY in the EASTERN USA had a sample dress, nor would get one for me. This store was the ONLY store that got me a sample dress to try on (yes, you have to leave a non-refundable deposit)...They were more helpful than the manufacturer!!!

Basically I freaked out one day last spring because I did not have a dress ordered yet. I had not even started looking. I went to the Bridal Suite of Bay Shore by myself. I brought about 10 pics of some Maggie Sottero dresses. Marianne helped me. She was AMAZING! She brought the dresses that she had from my pics and also some more that she thought I would like. There was one that she brought that I was like "ugh...I saw that one online I don't really like it". That is the one that I LOVED on. Then she showed me the veil that went with it and we found a comb that matched. It took me about 45 min to pic out my dress. While there I found a maid of honor dress I liked in the color (burnt orange) I wanted it and the bridesmaid style and a different dress in the color I wanted (Wine). I was able to decide on the color of my dress from that, and went with ivory. The next day one of the MOHs (I had 3) came with me and one of the BMs (I had 4). They loved the dresses that I picked out and we ordered them. It literally took me less than an hour to pic out my dress and the MOH and BM dresses. It was a very great experience!!

Looking for your wedding dress could be the most stressful part about getting married. I went to tons of shops before I went to The Bridal Suite. My mom and I both picked up the same dress in different parts of the store with out even knowing it. When I slipped into the dress I began to cry because I knew it was the one! Andrea was the most helpful and kind person we worked with there. She answered all my questions calmly and without doubt. I got my girls dresses and my mothers dress there too! My mother was somewhat of a challenging customer and the owner was very helpful in putting her mind at ease. I love my dress sooooo much, I just wish I could take it out of the box and put it on again and again and again!!!!

The Bridal Suite of Bayshore did an outstanding job with my dress. We went to Bridal Reflections first in Massapequa, and the saleswoman helping us was uptight and snippy, not letting us look at any of the dresses and insisting that she be the only one picking out dresses for us. Because I did not want a strapless dress, the saleswoman said that since "that wasn't in style at the moment" (which all my bridal magazines beg to differ-- off the shoulder straps are everywhere), they only had a few styles. Frustrated, we left and went to Bridal Suite of Bayshore, which just came up in an iphone search. The mood here was night and day. My bridesmaids and my mom were allowed to look through the dresses, pick them out and the saleswoman helped me try them on! They were so laid back that it let us relax and have fun... it's supposed to be fun! We found my dress that day, and it was beautiful. All the alterations came out great, and the dress was so beautiful and intricate, and MUCH more reasonable than ANYTHING that looked cheap in Bridal Reflections. We recommended this place to my cousin, who is getting married in a few months, and she found her dress there too. :) The dress was $1000, and the slip, veil, bra, alterations, and hairpiece came to approx. another $800.
