Erica Lyn Photography (Forest Hills, Queens)

Has anyone heard from Erica Lyn recently? Is she still in business? She hasn't updated her blog since 2010.

She was my wedding photographer this past Oct and I had huge communication issues with her post-wedding. She was always flaky and really bad with communication to begin with, but it was a nightmare dealing with her after.

In December, she posted on her FB page apologizing to her clients for the delays on her end saying she was dealing with a serious personal matter. She said that everything was good and she was back full force and up and running but I still had the same issues. She's since taken down her page.

I honestly have no idea if she is still in business. She was never good about updating her site and blog. FB was really the way to keep up with her and now it's gone.

I would not recommend her after the experience I had. It was very stressful dealing with not hearing from my wedding photographer, making me wonder if I was even going to get my wedding photos.

Feel free to FM me with any more issues/questions. Just post here that you have sent me FM because I am not on here too often anymore but I will check back on this post.

This client was one of the most difficult client's I've had. I went above and beyond throughout the rehearsal dinner photos as well during the wedding. I did also provide you with beautiful engagement photos, rehearsal and wedding photos. Shortly thereafter, I went through an extremely serious and major family emergency and expressed to you if I could have a little time to get back into the swing of things and handle what I was going through. It's unfair how you discount all the great photos I took and the great experience you had throughout the 3 seperate shoots. I have shot over 500 weddings and this has been really one of the worst unfair reviews I have ever received. All of my other clients are extremely happy with the service I provided and I apologize that you had such a horrible experience.
