I have to bring a picture of what I want my bustle to look like. Please post pics of the bustle on your dress. Thanks!

Re: Post pics of your bustle
This is from my trial..of course it was neater the day of...It is actually two bustles. One for the inner layer and one for the outer layer of the gown.
minniebride - me too. that's why I was flipping out when the bridal attendant bustled my dress and it was the wrong bustle. she fixed it so it looked like this instead.

Does anyone know of any websites where you can find pictures of all types of bustles?

ssdare... did your sister happen to get her dress at Kleinfelds? Because her seamstress looks awefully familiar (she looks like my seamstress...)

I know, I know! This long, beautiful train - and you have to scrunch it up the majority of the time you're wearing it You looked beautiful though!

That's why I'm happy I went detachable!
I do think some of them look very pretty however.
Edit:
Snook, that is Kleinfelds! I recognize the carpet. Who is your seamstress?

LisaT...were you happy with your dress being bustled under? It sounds very interesting. The place I got my dress didn't mention that as an option and your bustle from your picture looks great.

Re: Post pics of your bustle
yes, I was very happy with it. My dress is gathered down the back and I loved that effect - I would have hated to cover it up with the train.
Its funny, but I loved my bustle. I was so excited when the seamstress pinned it up that it didn't ruin the lines of the dress and just enhanced the look.
its called a french bustle - some of the other pictures are french as well, but they're above the hemline.
and I was so happy...I didn't really want a train anyway...but the dress I found had one...so off it went...it was so light to dance with and freeing...

I had posted pics of my dress if you want to check out that post and see my bustle. I think it's called 'I met my dress come see'.

Thanks for the info. I am debating whether to cut the train off. It is pretty small and I like the way it looks for pics. But I don't know if I like the way the bustle looks. I cant believe it cost more to cut it off than it does to make a bustle.

see if you can pin it under - its the best of both worlds. You get your train for pictures, but there's no bustle in sight once up.
