October 13 Hamlet WW review!!! I'm back!
Hi everyone!!
It feels like forever that I've been on here! I'll try to keep it short and give a review of my vendors. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.
I'll start with the rehearsal dinner -
Nocello's in East Northport - Excellent. Good food, quiet, just a great place for a small party. If your church is in the area, definitely look into it.
Hamlet Wind Watch - Outstanding. Food was amazing, place was amazing...Denise was a doll and I know she made everything go smoothly. I only saw her a few times but so many people commented about how good the food was, plate presentation, and just how smoothly everything went. For those who are stressing over the whole 'wall' issue - leave it open, you'll be glad you did. It was so beautiful and I think the place would look too tight if it was left shut.
Makeup - Jaqueline Nicole. Need I say more. As usual, she was amazing. On time and right on schedule. My makeup lasted all night and was definitely happy that I booked her. All of my girls look great as well.
Hair – my uncle is a hair dresser and of course everything turned out perfect!
Limo’s – Ron’s Limo’s. He was a local guy in E. Npt – I was so happy with them! The Rolls I got was beautiful (and the one I sat in when I signed!) and the limo I got was in perfect condition (again, the same one I sat in when I signed the contract!) Affordable and very good service. Highly recommend.
DJ – After Hours DJ Entertainment – Can’t say enough about them! My dance floor was packed the entire night and they were great! I knew I had a good dancing crowd but people are still raving about the DJ. I used Phil (he’s the owner). If you haven’t booked a DJ yet…consider meeting with him. I thought he was fantastic.
Video - Blue Sky Video Production – Bill (owner). I haven’t seen the video yet but he was so unobtrusive I barely even knew he was there. I just remember coming over and saying goodnight and for us to send our honeymoon pictures to him. I’ll let you know how the video comes out…but I’m sure it will be great.
Photos – Ray O’Connor Photography – Doug was my photographer and even though it rained that day, I think we got some pretty good shots. I haven’t gotten my proofs back yet but my engagement pictures came out great so I’m sure these will too. His assistant Michele is a doll and thank god for her! A couple of times I got a little stressed (rain, dyed shoes, etc.) and she made sure everything was ok.
Beckman’s Florist – Lisa was the florist and everything turned out amazing and just the way I wanted it. You’ll see them when I post pictures!
Hawaii – Amazing – way too much to write about for a 2 week honeymoon so if anyone has any questions, just ask. Absolutely beautiful!
Basically I had a perfect day!! Now I’m just happy to be married!!! Just remember to enjoy your day…it goes SO fast!!!
