Has anyone ever been to or had a reception at Danfords on the Sound in Port Jeff? The info I've received from them looks good but I've never been there for an event.
We didn't have our reception there (ours was at the Port Jeff Country Club) but we had most of our pre-wedding festivities there. The food is very good and the service is highly attentive. We booked several rooms there for me & Mike, my family and the bridal party. They treated us very well and accommodated us at every level. Hope this helps a bit.

If there's anything else I can help with, let me know. We just got married at the Port Jeff Country Club on 9/2/01 and worked with vendors from the Port Jeff area. Our wedding was awesome and I truly loved every person we dealt with. We did not have one single vendor mishap. Anyway good luck!

It is really pretty!! My mom got the Presidental Suite the day and night of my wedding- myself and my bridesmaids got dressed there and we took lots of pictures there!!!! My husband and I stayed there the night of the wedding too. We loved it!
We had our reception at the Meadow Club in PJ and had our rehersal dinner at the Printers Devil in downtown PJ. Which was awesome!!! I would highly recommend it!!!

We planned our wedding from Kentucky! What a nightmare. We also had our rehearsal at the Printer''s Devil and cannot tell you how wonderful it was. The food was excellent and the private room was perfect. Their prices are so reasonable and the staff was extremely nice. Good luck!!!

The address & phone are: 105 Wynn Lane, Port Jefferson (631)928-7171. They were wonderful - our guests had an appetizer, choice of 3 entrees & dessert for $18 per person. The food is awesome and they have a private glass enclosed room for your party.
