Re: OFFICIAL Huntington Townhouse Thread
I'm getting married there September 16, 2006. We are having our ceremony in the chapel on the second floor. Our reception will be in the Governor's room.

Re: OFFICIAL Huntington Townhouse Thread
Well I picked them b/c I used to do some competitions there and so it was a good connection. But I've read on some posts that things were set up properly etc... So I guess its a heads up for all of us. I made sure I got a wedding planner who has worked there (Dazzling Affairs - Francesca - who is awesome!) so that I know she knows the ropes and will help things run smoothly.I'm using the outdoor chapel (gazebo) and the penthouse upstairs for reception.

Re: OFFICIAL Huntington Townhouse Thread
you guys should at least check the reviews on it - so you know what to be prepared for - and tell them what you heard... I did that for my DJ, and I'm hoping it will help them be aware...

Re: OFFICIAL Huntington Townhouse Thread
I was married there last August Ceremony at the gazebo and reception in the Governors ballroom. Everything went smoothly for us. THe only bump was working with Steven Silver, the owners son. He usually calls to remind you money is due and sometimes acts as a BM. Our BM was Ellen Rose and she was a doll!!!Steven is very arrogant and should not work with the public but working with everyone else is great. Johnathon Castle the Guy who helped us with our menus was very helpful.
Our day was wonderful and everything went smoothly. Just like any other caterering hall there are good and bad reviews. Just remember to read your contract and get everything in writing.... got a question ASK IT!!!!!
Good luck!!!
