Multi-colored bridal party?

So I've been having a really hard time narrowing down a color of the bridal party. I was originally going with a light purple, but now I don't know! I have 1 MOH and 4 BM's, so I was thinking of doing different colors for each girl... what do you ladies think?

Well the wedding is in May, so more springish colors. I know I want 1 to be a light purple, but other than that I'm lost! If anyone has any ideas or has done this than please send pics or ideas!

Love it!!!
I originally wanted to do shades of purple, blues, green, teals,.. but the dress we chose didn't have too many colors to pick from so we are doing the 2 below and my MOH is in a different dress in a deep plum

I've seen a party where there were four girls

One in light pink
One in dark pink
One in light purple
One in dark purple

I thought it was really pretty.

We are watching an episode of My Fair Wedding and the bride wanted her 14 bridesmaids to have different color dresses and he wouldn't let her. LOL. 14 different colors would have been a disaster!

I've seen it done beautifully! Perhaps your bridal party can wear shades of the same color or the same dress in different colors?

I've seen it called a Rainbow Bridal Party.. my cousin did it at hers and used the same dress in light pastels that complimented each other and it looked really nice!!

i was in a friends wedding that did different shades of pink and yellow. it looked amazing!

and we all were able to buy our own dress, which was a great perk!
