I googled engagement party invitation sayings...but this is the one that I used

It started with a kiss, and it went like this
He popped the question,
“Will you be my wife?”
She said, “I will love you for all of my life.”
That’s how it started
now a party is due
So reserve this date,
we’re inviting you!

THen i wrote our names and the party info
