Cobalt or Royal Blue ???

I am trying to describe my wedding colors to my planner, florist ...

Am I having a cobalt blue wedding or a royal blue wedding????

i think its cobalt... i would say royal blue is a little deeper blue...

I think the best thing is to give them swatches. I'm not sure what the understood difference is between royal blue and cobalt. If you can't get a swatch (which you should be able to order from wherever you got the dresses) then go to home depot and grab all the dark blue swatches and find the one that matches best.

When I met with the florist he told me to save the alteration pieces from the BM's dresses because I wanted satin covering the bouquets. He said that is how they would match them perfectly! Use the same material!! but if you didn't want to use it for that at least save a piece to bring to them. HTH
