I'm itching to chop all my hair - stop me!

Every few years I go through this - I cut my hair super short, grow it out, and repeat. I didn't cut my hair (with the exception of basic trims) for over 3 years. Then last month I chopped 7' off. I want to cut even more, but I'm worried that it won't work well for the wedding....should I chop or not?

My hair now is about 2' shorter than in my avitar and I've grown out the bangs

Think of the wedding day and how you'd like your hair.

But if you do decide to cut it you can use a hair piece for many wedding styles!

Don't cut it.................just get a simple clean trim before the big day. You can do a lot more with longer hair. Cut it after the big day! Just my suggestion though....

I am definitely in the same boat as you- I prefer my hair super short but over the last few years I wanted to be patient and see if I can grow it long. Well then i got engaged and want to cut it all off!!! I am being good though - I might get a few trims but thats it until June 27! Or at least until after the honeymoon.

I'd say jsut keep it long enough to do something with it! Hope you (and I) can hold out alittle longer!

You have about 10 months to your wedding. How fast does your hair grow? I cut mine about six months ago(and got yelled at by everyone) But it has already grown back. Do what you will feel comfortable with. You might want it shorter for your wedding, if not chop a little more off and then don't touch it til your wedding!

I think it depends on how fast your hair grows and how you want to wear it for the wedding.

If the itch is that bad though do it...

STOP DON'T DO IT

I think your hair grows about a 1/2 inch every month. If you really want to wear your hair up for your wedding than don't do it.

I know how you feel I had to have FH talk me out of cutting my hair just last week. It gets to the in between stage where it does nothing.

I was just complaining about this last night! I hate when FH leans on it then I'm nailed to the bed or the couch. I just want layers! :)

Ok, but seriously, don't cut! Think of all the hard work it has been to grow it out!

my 2 cents is I would wait till the wedding! Just get a trim.

STEP AWAY FROM THE SCISSORS!!!!!! Trust me, I am in the same boat....most brides are so happy the will be married in (x) amount of time, but I'm just like.... 10 more weeks and I can get a haircut

Same deal with me ... spend all my time growing hair, then chop. My last SHORT cut was May 2002 and as much as I loved it, knowing I was getting engaged, I vowed to do nothing but trim until the wedding so there would be hair to style!!!! I've been telling FI he can give me a crew cut teh day after!!! LOL!!!

I'd stick with just a trimming.
