Re: January Brides?
I still have to book limos, as well as flowers. My invites will be going out next week(gettting an address list together was the hardest part of this whole experience). My fittings start in mid November and I still have to find shoes. I thought I had alot together -am I a little behind? Oh yeah, almost forgot, we got our bands yesterday. That was pretty cool to see a ring on FH's hand when he tried it on.

Re: January Brides?
Hey kkattau! It's so nice to hear that there are other brides sharing our month. Are you starting to flip out yet? I never would have thought that it would come so quick. Hopefully as soon as I finalize my invites and send them out I will be able to relax. somewhat.

Re: January Brides?
Hey gertyrae, are you getting a little nervous too? I have only 70 days left. I don't know if I love or hate that countdown clock.

Re: January Brides?
within this past week, yes.. like no other. I think because so far the biggest nightmare is actually getting ALL the addresses together. My invites still haven't gone out yet. Waiting to get them back from the calligrapher. Are your invites out yet? I hope that I'm not that behind...

Re: January Brides?
I sent my over-seas invites out last week, and my US ones are going out tomorrow (unfortunately I intended to send them out 2 weeks ago, but one of my friends got very very ill.)You are not behind! Youa re in great shape. I would talk to limo places, though. A lot of them have substitutes for the specialty bridal limos in the event of the 'S' word, so I would check that out.
Let me know if you need anything, or even just to chat!

Re: January Brides?
Thanks. Limos are definatly on my 'TO DO' list for next week when FI and are off. Also flowers are a bit of a horror. I am talking to a few florists and hopefully by next week I will be able to finalize with someone-the prices are so crazy. I wanted to put rose petals on my tables (about 18) and one vendor actually wanted $850 alone just for that and I'm not even doing c-pieces. Hopefully I can take a break after next week.

Re: January Brides?
Im definately feeling teh crunch, invites just went out though, so thats a relief. My shower is in two weeks, my mom will be here in one week for an exteneded visit and we will get alot done then, but its just overwheleming, work, school and wedding planning is getting quite stressful, by the time I get to that honeymoon, Im going to really relax!!!!!

Re: January Brides?
You gotta love that losing your job thing! We just aren't doing anything for the next 80 days!!We just went to Jack and Rose to finalize the flowers, I really love him, posted a rave review on the BHB board. I think tomorrow nite we are going to go to the Printer's Devil and book our RD.
Ah yes and the invites went out today!! Thank god!!
