Furniture Delivery, a small spending spree, stroller all ready and Molly?

We had a busy weekend getting ready for baby. The midwife told me that because of the GD the doctors want the baby coming between 37-39 weeks, although no real discussion of induction have been started. I am taking Evening Primrose Oil right now which helps to soften your cervix and promote labor to begin. So Scott and I said that we had better get a move on and get ready for our little bundle of joy.
(I started 35 weeks on Saturday.)

The furniture was delivered on Friday afternoon and Scott spend some of Saturday night putting the crib together.

Here is the changing table (notice the little basket on top which was a gift from Claud. I used it for clean baby clothes.)

Amoire

Saturday morning Scott put together our Graco Metrolite stroller (the snugride fits into it, as most of you know) I think it is funny how much smaller the stroller looks next to Scott. It came with a matching diaper bag too.

I did 4 loads of baby laundry this weekend and lined all the drawers so today is put away day. There was just soooo many little tiny things
Then yesterday I went to BBB to spend a gift certificate that I got at my shower. I bascially used to it to pick up lots of 'little' things such as a waterproof pad, sheet savers, a little blanket, a bundle me up, a book, stuff like that. It was really fun to shop for that stuff.
Now for the weird experience of Friday. While in Michael's getting supplies for the recipe card swap I started to have a leg nerve 'attack' (that is the only word I know to descibe what happens). It hurts to the point of me wanting to lay in the aisle, but I don't. Anyway I was, of course, near the back of the store, so out of NO WHERE and without prior thought I said 'Molly, let's just get up to the front of the store and we can sit on one of the benches for a few minutes to ease this up' I even shocked myself. Molly? I have never called the baby Molly before. I mean, I liked the name but it wasn't even on our list and I almost never use a girl's name or even 'she' to reference the baby. So if I have a girl her name will now be Molly Eva. My grandmother was Mary so Molly is very close to that and it would be in honor of her and my other grandmother Eva (again, as many of your know) Scott and I both agreed. I mean, why would I just come out and say that?

So that is my little recap!!

Re: Furniture Delivery, a small spending spree, stroller all ready and Molly?

okay.

YOU ARE THE CUTEST THING IN THE WORLD NEXT TO THAT STROLLER. ALMOST as cute as your husband with his directions all putting together the crib. You two are just the picture of adorable. I am so damn excited I don't know what to do.

I LOVE the name Molly. I think you've found the winner there. I envy you. Here I thought that i'd have the baby name down in no time, I only have to decide on one sex, and STILL - NOTHING.

Where is the armoire from? i love it! Do you know if it comes in white?

I can't wait to see the whole room done. Michele you look absolutely fantastic. Congrats on a great weekend and I enjoyed the recap!

Jenny- I am only a few weeks before my due date and the name just popped up. I bet that will happen to you too! And boy's name...we will be in the delivery room drawing straws
I don't think it comes in white but here is a link to the furniture site.

Michele, you and Scott are so cute! I love the stroller pics. I love Molly Eva! And you will have a great story to tell her about how her name 'came' to you! Soundsl like your nesting instincts are kicking in. That means baby isn't far behind!

I love the furniture you picked out. Where did you get it?

You look absolutely wonderful Michelle. Honestly, you're carrying beautifully. I bet you can't wait to welcome this baby into the world!

That's weird how that name would just come out like that!

I love your furntiure!

I also love the name Molly Eva. My friend had a similar experience regarding her baby's name. Her husband had a dream several weeks before she was due that they had a girl named Libby. Libby was not even on their list - but when they had a girl that is what they named her!

Enjoy your last several weeks!

Re: Furniture Delivery, a small spending spree, stroller all ready and Molly?

Michele! This is all VERY exciting! BTW, that top and sweatshirt look familiar!

Everything looks WONDERFUL! You must be soooo excited! I am surprised that Scott had to put the crib together by himself - I thought the store delivery people did that for you? Ours was assembled for us (thank God!) b/c Jeff would have been cussing the whole time!

WOW - only a few more weeks - I can't even believe it. I know this has been a trying journey for you, but the best reward is about to make his/her debut!!!

And, Molly Eva is beautiful, Michele. What on earth made you say Molly? What an amazing story - ESPECIALLY if your angel is a little girl! I'm sorry the nerve pain is acting up so badly...let me know if you need my help with anything, okay?

Re: Furniture Delivery, a small spending spree, stroller all ready and Molly?

I don't have a good 'whole' room photo. Scott needs to break out the fish eye and it was too dark for that type of photo last night.

Claud- the pants should look familiar too

We had the option of having the company put the crib together or we could do it ourselves. Scott wanted to put the baby's crib together so how could I say no to that?

Molly just happened. I have NO idea why or how or anything. That is why I know it is the right choice.
