Can we start a thread on what stores for Mother of the Bride/groom for dresses

I am so lost as to where to tell my mom and FMIL where to start looking for dresses. I really don't know of any stores or websites to tell them anyone have ideas?

How much is she looking to spend? My mom and I went a bunch of different stores- Totally You in Bellmore, Blanchees in E. Rockaway, Moonlight Couture in Merrick, Fillys in Albertson, Menekshe in Hewlett (where she got her dress), Bridal Reflections, Renates in Wantagh, Saks, Neiman Marcus, and a bunch of other stores. Oh also Sugarplum in Lynbrook and PM Boutique in Oceanside.

My mom bought hers in Texas but, I am sure you could find it here. The designer is MOrilee. It is in a Sand Color. They have different colors. It looks so much prettier in person. Check out www.theKnot.com

my mom got her dress at Cathy's Bridal in Lindenhurst (love that place!!) and my FMIL got hers at the Wedding Center in Commack.

My mother ordered hers from Lydia's Bridal in Copiague. My FMIL hasn't started to look yet (In all fairness it is almost a year away).

I am checking out Lord and Taylor I hear that they have great gowns for inexpensive prices.

My mom got her dress for my sisters wedding from the Wedding Center in Commack.
There is also Estelles Dressy Dresses for those looking for a more inexpensive dress.

My mom got her dress for my brother's wedding at Omnibus Fashion in Babylon Village. She was really pleased with them and she will probably go there for a dress for my wedding.

Julie, my mom just picked up her dress from Omnibus. The owner, Paula, is an old time friend of hers. They have one of a kinds there, which is really nice.
