Repost from 2004 board: Off the Shoulder Dress
I purchased an off the shoulder dress and now am getting concerned about whether or not it is going to be comforatble all day. Has anyone worn one or planning to wear one, what was your experience? Thanks.

I had the same concern...would it be comfortable to wear all day? I was also concerned about being able to life up my arms. The lady at the store assured me that it would be fine. I feel like I will be fine in the dress. I just now have to wait until it arrives.

Re: Repost from 2004 board: Off the Shoulder Dress
I wore an off the shoulder gown and was really afraid that I'd be uncomfortable and not able to raise my arms all day. The seamstress at the bridal shop made my sleeves a little loose so I was still able to move my arms around. It ended up not being a problem at all.

Two of my closest friends wore dresses off the shoulders and I never heard complaints about being uncomfortable out of either of them.

Re: Repost from 2004 board: Off the Shoulder Dress
My dress was tip of the shoulder, which is very similar to off the shoulder. It was very comfortable and I was able to dance with my arms around my 6'3' husband's neck (I'm 5'8').Some off the shoulder dresses would have constricted me from doing so. So try them out beforehand.

I am wearing an off the shoulder dress. Can't find a picture or I would show you, very comfortable when I have tried it on. My co-worker wore one last year, no complaints.

My dress is off the shoulders and I actually find it very comfortable. It is also chiffon so that might also make a difference.Welcome New Vendors
