Not leaving early!! I never get to leave early...

my boss let me go *early* one day because I was sick and spreading germs all over the place. It was 5:30.

Joeslauren..same for me..Market doesn't close till 4..then I have to process everything. I will be leaving at regular time. What do you do? I am a trader's assistant for a Portfolio Trading desk.

I would like to change careers too..
I work in the city too..i wish I worked on Long Island so I didn't have to commute when we have kids. It is a pain. I need to find something different..but now it pays the bills!

I was given permission to leave early by my boss (who left 10 minutes ago) BUT - I commuted in w/ FI, and I can't drive his automatic car (don't know how) so I'm stuck here!!

*Sigh*

I really wish I had yesterday off - it was gorgeous!!! Being inside was such torture!
