besides blue nile and mondera, are there any good sites for wedding bands? i want to see some online even though i probably won't order online.

see if HL Gross & sons has a gallery on their website. They are in Garden City & Have great styles & pretty comparable prices.

DH and I got ours at eweddingbands.com and have had a very good experience with them.
