My fiance wants me to go with him to look at Tuxes!!!

Thats not normal right? And I really dont want to see him in it until the wedding day. He wants me to go because he doesnt trust his friends fashion taste,
what do I do? We did look through tux pictures together..and he himself has great taste..I think hes finally getting nervous!
Did this happen to anyone else?

I actually took charge and made him go. It really isn't anything superstitious.

We went together and it was really fun actually.
If you feel that you shouldn't see him in it, then that is ok.

I think its great that he wants you to go with him. I asked my husband if I could, and was so glad when he didn't object. I wanted to make sure that all the vests/ties coordinated well with the bridesmaid's dresses.

I really don't believe that the whole not seeing before the wedding day applies to a tux rental, but if its important to you then you should let him know.

Hi Alicia!! Can your FH call my FH and tell him that I have to go with him for tuxes because my FH WON'T LET ME COME AND I'M NERVOUS!!!!! Just think of all the possiblities I could get -a white tux or worse, tails with a top hat ahhhhhh!!!!

All kidding aside, I think it is normal to go with him if you want to! If not, maybe you can have a close friend of yours go instead and tell them that he/she knows what you would like!

I went with FI. We originally just went to check out prices and before we knew it he was getting measured... I was glad I went with him and I think he was too. It was kind of fun!!! We had a good laugh when we walked out the tux place.

I went with FH too. He didn't try on the entire thing. Just the jacket. I would NOT want him and his friends going to pick it out, NO WAY JOSE! Call me mean, but all along it was going to be me and him...

I am letting my FH choose the type and stuff.. but I am going with him..
love him trust him (he has better taste than me) but I want to make sure that the GM's tuxs match the girls. He's picking them all out.

I'm going with FH to pick out their tuxes as well. He asked me to and I'm only superstitious about him seeing my dress.

I am definitely going with FH. I do trust his taste but I want to make sure that the vests match the BM dresses and everythign is in order. I dont want the any shocks the day of my wedding. I really dont need pics of me with a wierd facial expression once I walk into church and see teh tuxes they chose.

If you really dont want to go and see him for the first time on the wedding then reassure your FH that you do trust his taste and if he still isnt ok with that why dont you ask your MOH or one or two of you BM to go with him - that way he will be more comfortable with making a fashion decision and you wont know which he chose.

I didn't even give my FH a choice! I told him I was going when that time came. He laughed and said he wouldn't even consider going without me! He knows how I am, I have to make sure everything is coordinated.

I went with FH & it turned out that he loved the tux I wanted without me telling him (which is weird b/c it is a very unusual style). So it worked out OK anyway. I did not have him try it on in front of me though, but I am going with his GM to make sure they all get the proper fit. He will go with my sis for his fittings.

I was just afraid it was superstitious....shows what I know...a whole lot of NOTHIN'!!! great..so Ill go with him and then he goes with his friends?
I did offer up my sister, but he said no ..he wanted ME.
It'll be easy to match up to my girls because they are wearing black. I laughed so hard at some of your responses, teh one about havinga surprise walking down teh stairs and the white tux witha top hat..hahah all of yoru postst were funny and made me feel so much better!! Thanks everyone!!
