Baby Shower Gifts! Wanna See?

I have family and friends expecting 5 new babies this Fall, so I've been up to my eyeballs in gifts and crafts for the past month

I am trying to get a head start, since being the Mommy of your own toddler doesn't afford you much 'creative' time!

I found both of these ideas on the Internet. The diaper cakes on the internet actually look a bit different than mine...I adapted it to look like what I wanted it to. The diaper tool kit is pretty much what you'd find online, except that I added the stamping to jazz it up a bit.

Look what I've made so far...A Diaper Cake:

With Poem:
While it looks colorful and sweet,
Baby’s cake is not for eating.
It’s meant to prepare Mommy
With useful things that she’ll be needing.

Like cloth diapers and Wet Ones
For those inevitable messes.
And shampoo, a comb and brush
For styling Baby’s fine tresses.

There’s lotions and powders –
Disposable diapers galore!
You’ll want to use them all
When Baby’s bottom gets sore.

At bath time, Rubber Ducky
Will tell if water’s too HOT!
Use creamy oil and washcloths
To smooth out Baby’s rough spots.

A Binky with its Keeper
Is held securely in place.
And two pairs of cotton mittens
Protect Baby’s newborn face.

A combination rattle/teether
Help first teeth to pop thru.
And cleanser, toothbrush and bib
For when they finally do!

There’s naptime to prepare for
With a sleeper and some shirts.
And Boo Bunny’s here for emergencies
To scare away the “hurts.”

Baby will be happy and secure
Wrapped in blankets so tight.
And booties were included
To keep toes comfy all night.

Finally, one eight ounce bottle
To keep hunger pangs at bay.
And one fuzzy little teddy
For when Baby wants to play!

Next, Daddy's Diaper Duty Tool Kit

With Poem:
When diaper duty calls,
You’ll have your tools close by.
It holds everything you’ll need
To help Baby not to cry.

Diapers, wipes and Desitin
A mask, goggles, and gloves.
Use this time to bond and
Show Baby Daddy’s love.

This Diaper Tool belt guarantees
That you’ll do your duty right.
So that one very important Mommy
Can sleep soundly through the night!

ETA - Yes, I wrote both poems myself.

Natasha, YES! I would LOVE to, but I just don't know where to begin! I have an entire Shutterfly album filled w/pics of my gifts and crafts and home decor stuff, and I'd love to actually do this type of thing for a living.

For now, I just do it to make those that I love happy!

GORGEOUS !!!

The tool kit is always a hit at baby showers! I started buying some things to make it for my brother.
Claud-they retail for over $30 if I remember correctly, start that business girl!

I wanted to start making 'kids' personalized stuff. So the preggo mommy can go from your house to my house to get her shopping done!
