We went to the Mens Warehouse in Carle Place and we were very happy with them. I don't know anything about the Patchogue place.

NO rent it in the city- AVE OF THE AMERICAS-, huge selection. pick it up in patchogue. that is what we did, Meg. The guys can pick it up anywhere in the US, any store. All falls under your party! BTW, had a day from hel, as you can see.

we're using mens warehouse because our guys are coming to LI from all over & we're in NJ. we'll use the carle place store on glen cove road.

We had to go with them b/c not one of our guys is from NY. They're all in CT, NJ, MA and MD.

FI just rented a tux for our friends' wedding this weekend.....beautiful! He looked great! A little story that goes with it: IF you do go to Patchogue, ONLY deal with IVAN (FI was measured by someone else and he ordered THE JACKET AND DRESS SHIRT in wrong size!!! AND the guy is a supposed manager in training)) When we went to pick it up and realized the problem, IVAN called the store in Harrisburg, PA (where the wedding was) and arranged for us to pick up there. They called on Fri to remind them to go pick it up and called on Sat to make sure it was there for us. The PA store had us in and out in 10 minutes. They profusely apologized. When we returned the tux, Ivan apologized and told us how he followed up with PA for us. FI was very happy with the way the fixed the problem and I think he wants to use them for our wedding since most of our guys are from out of town as well.

I'm not familiar with that specific store but the company is good if you have people
from other states, since the groom can just go in pick out what he likes
and no one has to go with him. The only bad thing and I don't know if it is the
same all around is that the tuxes are due back by noon the next day. Very
difficult if it was a late night wedding.

I did not deal with the Patchogue store. We ordered the tuxes in MA and then picked them up at the Lake Grove store.
I would warn you to double check the order though. When DH and I went to pick up the tuxes the Thursday before our wedding (which was on Saturday), the tuxes had come in with all the wrong color vests. We worked with Glenn, the Lake Grove store manager to straighten things out.
Apparently, the central location of the Men's Wearhouse tuxes is Dallas. The stores do not keep the tuxes on site. So Glenn had to contact the Dallas location and have vests Fed Exed to LI. Dh had to go to Men's Wearhouse the morning of the wedding to pick them up and the ringbearers still had the wrong vests.
So, while Glenn was very helpful, the whole experience left a bad impression on me. That is NOT the situation you need to be dealing with on the day of your wedding. JMO.
