My first wedding nightmare...

It was the day of my wedding...the guests have already arrived - waiting for the ceremony to start...and I'm frantically trying to create the list of songs for the band - we never met with the band beforehand to do this!!! Everyone is getting cranky and nasty and I'm not even dressed. When I suddenly realize I never did the votive placecards!!!

And I'm doing all of this in the bridal suite - with the door open and I can see all of the guests waiting.

Tres weird. Especially since I never remember my dreams...

Hey cp - don't worry, you're fine! You told me you've heard your band before and loved them. But maybe you should listen to the sound of a waterfall or something as you go to bed so that you dream of a fabulous honeymoon, instead!

Oh my goodness! I had my first nightmare last night! I have only been engaged for about 2 months and this is happening already. I was at the ceremony location and i was going to get dressed there, until someone asked what kind of shoes i was going to wear. I freaked out cause i never bought shoes to wear! i walked down the aisle crying and with white socks on! I am a shoe fanatic there is no way i would forget that! scary dreams i tell ya!

i had one dream myself.. in it i didnt have favors or placecards and i was going to call off the wedding because i didnt have it

Hey Sweetness I've had the shoe dream too!!

From what I hear, all these type dreams are normal. My favorite is the one where I am at work, and I get a frantic phone call saying 'Where are you?!?' I say 'At work, where else?' I realize it's my wedding day, and I've totally forgot!! Then I run out in a panic. That one wakes me up in a cold sweat every time! My second favorite wedding nightmare is the one where I've forgotten to send out invites. It's the day before the wedding and I'm making a million phone calls!

*sigh*, what I wouldn't do for a good nights sleep!

eeek..... I had the cake one. Which doesn't seem like a big deal unless you know my family.... they are all about the cake.

I forget to order the cake, so FH sends the Maitre'd out to get a cake, but all the bakeries are closed & he brings back a Carvel cake that says,'Happy Retirement Ira' on it.

i hate dreams like that. i recently had one where i forgot to pay the dj and he was going to leave the wedding. i didn't have any money for him so i told him that we could open my envelopes together to get the $$ for him - isn't that lame
