Need a bar rec. for romantic evening in Midtown

Any place you girls know of that would be nice and romantic for a few drinks???

The only one that comes to mind is Vintage which is on 9th Avenue in the 50's (around 51st or 52nd Streets). It's on the west side of the avenue. Maybe this is not quite midtown but that's what I can think of at the moment.

It's a pan-asian restaurant, (with AWESOME food!), but they have a very pretty bar area as well. There are two, one on the east side and one on the west side, both in midtown. The west side one has a nicer bar. It's on 80th between Amsterdam and Columbus. They make incredible martinis!

Edited to say that this restaurant is the first place my FH and I went on a date! Totally romantic

thanks girls! any other suggestions?? we dont plan on having dinner, just drinks.
