Tuxedos! Help! I am so confused....

Went for the first time today to look at tuxedos, I am so confused. The place we went to quoted us 110.00 and 20.00 for shoes and then cufflinks and accessories included. They were only throwing in 1 free tux. Is this a good deal. Also, I have no idea what I am looking at, any advice for the tuxedo clueless bride????

That sounds about right but they should atleast give you Dad's tuxes 1/2 off.

that sounds about right- The deal we got was $120 (tux/vest/tie/shoes) with the grooms tux free and 1/2 price for the 2 dads.

Re: Tuxedos! Help! I am so confused....

it also depends on how many tuxes are rented...
most say grooms free, 2 dads at 1/2 but need 4 to 6 rentals additional...

Re: Tuxedos! Help! I am so confused....

Sounds right, but depends on the quality.

We're paying $215 for our tuxes, and no one is free, but the tux is an extremely nice worsted wool tux by Geoffrey Beene and is fitted exactly to the guys with all the best details, i.e. cuff buttons in tact and not folded for fit.

We saw tuxes for $125 and they didn't compare. FH said 'How can I wear this when I tried on the other one, it feels and looks so different'.

We did get our dads similar tuxes, though not as nice, for $125, but they wanted to save a little $.

So, it depends on what you're getting. Make sure to go to more than one place, we were so glad we did.

We went to Tuxedo Park (they advertise on here) and the quality was amazing, although they are a bit more pricey.
