Tuna steak recipes besides grilling...
I am cooking this evening for my love and my sis so I need ideas. The easier, the better.
What can I do for the sides? I was going to do steamed veggies but FH isn't a real fan. I am slowly getting him into it. Baked potato?

You can brush the tuna with some sesame oil and coat with sesame seeds and then either grill if you want it healthier - or you can sear it in sesame seed oil - it gives it a nice flavor - you can serve it with rice and some vegetables and a salad

Also- along the lines of the sesame seed recipe- if you can find them get the black sesame seeds- mix them with the white so it looks pretty.. then make a wasabe cream sauce for dipping.
Yummy good....
Of COURSE leave the tuna rare in the middle and cut on a bias.
I serve this over field greens with a sesame dressing (or ginger dressing like Japanese food).

I found a cajun recipe that sounds yummy. We are in to the spicy thing in my fam. I love sesame seeds but where do I get those? Off of a bagel?
