Massapequa v. Mass. Park?

I know that these towns are next to each other, but what is the difference between these two towns?

I think one is an incorporated village- (massapequa park) and they have their own courts, police, etc-- but it's the same school district as Massapequa- either town is fine...

Actually I am from Farmingdale and most of Massapequa park went to school with us, Massapequa schools have better ratings so massapequa is more expensive for the most part, I just bought a house in Massapequa myself and I love it there

In Mass Park you also get to pay an additional town tax.

In terms of the school district- I think it depends where in MassPk you live- If you live very North by the Southern State- you'll be in a different school district... MassPk is in the middle of Massapequa- it's weird.. I went to Massapequa High School- it's a great school & the commute into the city via train is not bad...

My parents live in Mass Pk and I don't see too much of a diff. My sisters go to school with Massapequa kids and they live south of Sunrise.

It depends..not all Mass. Pk. go to Mass. schools..we are in Mass. pk., and we are Farmingdale schools. Mass Pk. is not divided/split evenly..2 blocks from me the kids go to Mass. schools, even though they live in Mass, Pk.

Part of Massapequa part is south of merrick rd (Bar Harbor) so its $$$$$$

some parts of mass. go to mass #23 and amityville #6. some parts of mass pk go to mass #23 and to farmingdale #22. mass pk has higher taxes because of the add'l village taxes incurred. no real difference location/driving wise. both are side by side and actually run right into each other.

You went to FHS...me too...when did you graduate?
