Hmm... never heard of steak tartar.

I eat regular foods, but when I eat cream cheese by the spoon and load tobasco sauce on my popcorn, then that tends to gross people out.

I HATE scungilli but I have tried it just to see what the fuss is about....and clams on the half shell blech!

I don't think this is bad but apparently my father HATES seeing me put mustard in my tuna. It becomes the topic of conversation for 5 minutes.

Octbride03 - Steak tartar is just thinly sliced extra extra rare steak...(almost raw)
I am not a fan, but if you get it in the right place, it's decent. Balthazar has good steak tartar I hear....

FH's father can't even be at the table with people who put catchup on their eggs....so funny....he'll actually get up and walk away b/c it makes him sick!!!! (I personally don't like it either)

I can't sit across from someone who is eating runny eggs or egg salad. Makes me gag. Blech, I'm gakking just thinking of it.)

Snails...I tried them once in Greece....eeewwwwww!!! It was so funny, my cousins and uncle refused to sit at the table so they pulled up their own table and ate normal food...I should have stuck with them bec snails are icky!!!

I'm not a big meat eater...but in Munich there is a specialty 'white Wurst'...it is white from calf brains...

I don't think I could eat it on an ordinary day...but get a few liters of beer in me!!

Gefilte fish! I only eat it on the Jewish holidays, but my DH cringes every time!! LOL
