Today is a very happy day for me, but also a very sad one!!

Today is one year that FH and I got engaged!

But it is also the 7 year anniversary of my brother's death

i know how you feel - we will be getting married just the day before the 1 yr anniversary of fmil's death...
your brother would be so happy you found happiness though..and he is still here in so many ways i am sure...

so sorry boop. I lost my brother last year to cancer and his 31st birthday is on the 30th. I hate those birthdays, anniversaries, etc.etc.

Thanks girls. Its hard to be both happy and sad on one day. But I know my brother is always watching down on me and I know that when my wedding day comes, he will be standing at my side.

I'm sure your brother is smiling down on you and FH. And I'm sure he will oversee everything from Heaven. He's still with you, he's just playing a different role.
