January 2004 Brides

Any jan brides out there? I was wondering what type of dress you were getting. It is going to be freezing in january and the dress that I have fallen in love with is strapless...is anyone getting a 'coat' for their dress?

i am not getting a coat, i figured i won't be wearing it for very long. i did get an off the shoulder 3/4 sleeve dress. i was looking at long sleeves but i didn't really like any of them on me, so i settled on this. You could always get a wrap, just for getting in and out of the car. My sister in law got one made custom for her at the place where she got the dress. I think it was around $150.

januray 31st - I don't care how cold it might be. I got a dress with speggetti straps. My aunt is making me a long white jacket with fur around the ends. i have a pic of it - i will post it tomorrow night. its really awesome. To buy one in a shop is kind of pricey - the one I saw was around $950. i Highly recommend getting some kind of jacket or wrap - then you can get whatever style dress you want.

I am January 9th, and I am also wearing a strapless dress. I am wearing a jacket in church (to cover my tattoos, not for warmth) but my auntie is making me an ivory velvet cloak to throw over my shoulders for the outdoor pictures! (or in between shots at least!)
