Faze 4, NYC Swing or Hank Lane

Thoughts anyone on any of these bands??

Got a lot of family feedback on NYC Swing... DH fam is from Westchester and I guess 52nd Street Swing does a lot of his parent's friends kids weddings. Anyway, we checked them out and I liked them..,.we were looking at 52nd and Uptown... I liked 52nd best... but we werent' 100% sold.

Have heard good stuff about Faze 4 but I didn't meet with them.

I went to a wedding with the Original Faze 4 a few weeks ago, and they were awesome. Everyone danced the entire night.

I also saw Uptown Swing and NYC Swing at a showcase over the summer. Of the two, I personally liked Uptown Swing better. They seemed to have more energy in my opinion.

if that is your price range for bands... I can suggest the band I used.

They have played at Billy Joel's wedding, for Robert DeNiro and lots others. They are out of NJ so they are not mentioned on here a lot but people have not stopped talking about them yet.

I originally wanted Faze4 but they were booked and then looked at NYC Swing but they were not really what we wanted. This band was amazing.

BTW -- They are great for Motown but did everything from Gun's N Roses to Flo Rida (sp) to Tina Turner, Metallica, etc..they were soooo awesome.

we booked nyc swing. they played at fbils wedding and we danced the whole night!! we went to see their showcase and still loved them.

we just went to a wedding with a hank lane band - michael hart i think and they were amazing!! but i think they are more expensive than nyc swing.

We looked at all 3 of those bands and booked Hank Lane
The only band I really liked from Faze 4 was the Original Faze 4 and they wanted a lot of money and I didn't love them enough for that price. However, I keep hearing amazing things about Faze 4.
We looked at all of the NYC Swing bands and really only liked the 52nd Street band, but we didn't like the band leader and FH and I thought he was a bit unprofessional.
We ended up going with Hank Lane because the band they showed us had exactly the kind of music we were looking for, mostly top 40s and motown and we really liked their presentation.

Also using Hank Lane, after meeting with Faze 4 and Hank Lane and others. We were impressed with Faze 4 but were just concerned about a possible lack of versatility within the particular band we were considering there. The band we went with at HL was able to do everything we thought we would want to hear and thus was the better choice for us.
