YYYAAAAAYYYY...saved more money!!! FH is Very Proud!

So i have been eyeing these bath and body works gift sets for gifts for the BM's. They are the 3 piece aromatherapy ones that come in a silk (?) type makeup bag. They come in 3 different scents. I really don't have the money to spend right now but i thought they were great find. They are $12.50 each but I have 6 bridesmaids (incl. MOH), jr. bm, and flower girl.

well today I used my American Express rewards points and got 4 $25 (total $100) gift cards for bath and body works. Now I can get BM's their gifts plus something for jr. bm and flowergirl. I might even have a little left over for me too.

So excited b/c i didn't have to spend a dime... FH is teaching me how to be better with my money.... He was so happy to hear I was learning. Also redeemed my gas purchase from the other day by using my chase points to get reimbursed. Now the money I paid for the month's bill will go towards my balance and the gas was free!!!!!!

so was I but having FH tell you that we were going to have to use our engagement money to pay off your (meaning MY) credit card debt really *****. We were able to work out something else luckily but that news alone got me to get my butt in gear. That is the money we are supposed to furnish our first place with. It was looking like cardboard boxes and folding chairs for a minute! I really have to save every penny now!!!!
