ONE YEAR AGO TODAY !!!!!!!!!!!
this is the chopped up version from our site......We went out for dinner at the restaurant in the Montauk Manor where we were staying. We had a very nice dinner (with a couple of martini's involved to loosen my anxiety) and returned to the room. We were greeted by our happy shih tzu's, and began to unwind. We threw the TV on and shut off the lights. It was shortly after that when I asked Roz 'do you love me enough to be Mrs. Booch?' and opened a box with Roz's ring inside. She immediately said 'you're crazy' and began crying and finally after about 5 minutes I asked her 'does that mean yes?'. She said 'yes' and we spent the next couple hours drinking champagne, calling everyone we knew to celebrate the news. The following day, we drove from Montauk to Riverhead to spend the day with Greg DeVeau and his family for their annual Rappi Pie day. We were greeted with open arms and congratulations as Greg was in on this plan for over a month. It was great to spend that day with the DeVeau's and other friends. We spent the rest of our weekend hosting Roz's sister Alicia, her husband John, Roz's longtime friend John Cabeza, my sister Sara and others for what was again supposed to be an early night but didnt end up that way!
