Are you paying for...
all the BM's hair and make-up for day of?I have 7 girls in my bridal party and my MOH hinted to me that they want me to pay for it. Being only 23 I just don't have the money to do it.
I've only been in one wedding in which we payed for everything ourselves. I want to help them out but don't know what the expectations are.
Should I pay for all of them, hair and make-up?
Should I pay for half of it?
Help girls!!!

Re: Are you paying for...
i'm paying for makeup and having them pay for their hair. i feel like they would probably be paying for hair even if i didn't make them get it but not so much with the makeup. since i want them to have both i'm paying for the makeup.

Re: Are you paying for...
No I will not be paying for there hair or make up only my 2 sisters, the four girls will be getting the hair themselves, If I have enough money I will pay for there make-up!

Re: Are you paying for...
Girls paid for their own hair & makeup w/one exception - my one BM that came up from MD - I paid for her makeup as a TY for making the long trip to share our special day.

Re: Are you paying for...
I'm giving them the information and prices for the person I'm using, but they'll have to pay for it themselves.

Re: Are you paying for...
I may pay for their make-up because I feel bad asking them to pay for that on their own, but I am still not sure about this.

Re: Are you paying for...
I don't know what I'm doing yet... my MOH's family is all hairdressers (and so is my mother) so she's covered, I'm having her sister do my hair the day of. I'm sure if I asked they'd do it for a decent price.as for make-up... I'm not paying. I'm prob doing my own.

ditto.. im not adding any more expenses to my wedding bill... i dont know what extras are in store for us so im not offerring anything at this pt....
if you already feel its going to be a burden dont do it.. you and your boo can use that $$ for something else.

Re: Are you paying for...
it all depends on the $$ issue closer to the wedding but I would like to pay for something of theirs... whether it be their makeup or maybe even their nails. I'll have to see what I can manage closer to the wedding.

Re: Are you paying for...
I have 7 girls in my BP and they are all paying for their own hair and makeup. I am not requiring a specific style so I don't think its mandated that I pay for it. Two of them are great with make up, so I am not worried about it.

Re: Are you paying for...
I've been in a bunch of weddings - in and out of state and no one has ever offered to pay for my hair and makeup - I always assumed it was the BM's responsibility. I have 8 BM's so I am not going to be paying for their hair and makeup. But if you have the extra cash - then I think it's a really nice gesture. But if you don't, I wouldn't stress about it.

Re: Are you paying for...
Phewwww I feel better. I was just caught off guard when MOH 'hinted' (really, blatantly asked) bc she knew FH is losing his job after the holidays and we are really tight right now. I definitely want to help them out as they are all young too and I will do my best to save for it but I just don't know if it's a possibility. Let's hope they don't get mad if I can't since they are assuming I am already!!

Re: Are you paying for...
I gave the option to my girls. They could use my hair/makeup team or their own or do it themselves. They ended up either doing it themselves or going to their own salons. Everyone wanted to do their own makeup. Had they opted to use my stylists I wouldn't have paid. Actually my mom used my hair girl and she paid for herself, too.

Re: Are you paying for...
i am not paying for their hair and makeup because i don't care whether they get it done. both of them (i only have two) always look good and put together, so if they want to do it themselves, that's fine with me.Welcome New Vendors
