what are you doing today? and turkey day question :)

I woke up with a fever booo. However, we still did our holiday food shop, and now I'm resting and smelling the turkey chili I made that's working in our slow cooker.

Oh and while I'm on the subject of cooking, what are you making for the holiday?

This year I'm in charge of the spinach/artichoke appetizer dip, and I'm also making apple crumb pie.

i should be writing a paper on the no child left behind act, but i am clearly not. and im not sure what i am making for the holidays. prob a bananna cream pie (thats always a big hit)

I am doing nothing, and enjoying it. DH is out & football, and the dog & I are cuddling on the couch watching TV.

For Thanksgiving I am making cookies. BIL & FSIL are cooking everything else. I am so lucky.

My grandfather came over to see our house so I spent the morning really cleaning since we are in a bit of a construction zone and have things everywhere. So he came over and was here for 15 minutes. All that work for a 15 minute visit.

Then we did leaves... I hate leaves.

I also made a butternut squash soup in the slow cooker.


Turkey day is in the hands of my MIL. Sadly.

Today I rearranged my closet, got rid of old shoes, suits, you name it. I cleaned up and made 3 meals for the short week.

DH has been watching football and playing Call of Duty all day.
